Registrations

Where can I find a copy of my tax invoice?

Once you have registered for the conference you will receive a confirmation email from ozaccom@ozaccom.com.au. Please note that the email confirmation will be sent to the email address entered when registering for the conference. This confirmation email contains a link to your PDF tax invoice.

Will I be sent my conference pass/ticket in advance?

No, you will not receive a hardcopy conference pass/ticket prior to the conference.
However you will receive a registration confirmation email shortly after registering. Please print invoice and bring with you to the conference registration desk at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in order to speed up the registration process on the day.

Can someone attend the conference in my place?

Yes. If you are no longer able to attend the conference we may be able to transfer your registration to the name of a colleague or friend free of charge, however you will need to email edge@architecture.com.au and inform us of the change at least 14 days prior to the conference.

I can no longer attend the conference, can I get a refund?

All cancellations and refunds will incur an administration fee of $120. No refunds will be issued after 14 days out from the event, and the full registration fee will be forfeited. ‘No Shows’ to the event will be charged the full registration fee. All cancellations to a registration must be made in writing to the Australian Institute of Architects:
edge@architecture.com.au.

What information should I bring with me to the conference?

The confirmation email received shortly after registering. Identification of the ticket holders name may also be required at the registration desk.

Can I purchase a half-day or 1 session only ticket?

No, unfortunately we do not offer half-day tickets; you will need to purchase a single day ticket as outlined on the registration page. Please note as there is a significant discount for the SONA and student full conference ticket types, there will not be any single day tickets available.

How do ‘Flexi Tickets’ work and how do I manage them?

Flexi Tickets are fully transferable between different employees of the same practice, with the condition that only one person per Flexi Ticket purchased may attend the conference at any one time. The ticket can be left for collection, at the registration desk or you can arrange alternative transfer with co-workers. This ticket allows access to all conference sessions for one person per session, and one lunch on Thursday and Friday. If you would like more information on this ticket type, please email edge@architecture.com.au.
Flexi Tickets do not include a ticket to the Opening Party.

I have registered online but haven’t received a confirmation email.

Please note that the email confirmation will be sent to the email address entered when registering for the conference. The confirmation email will be sent within 15 minutes of confirming your registration online.
As it is becoming increasingly difficult to send emails that do not end up in people’s JUNK/SPAM folders; if you do not receive the confirmation email please check your junk mail folder for an email from: ozaccom@ozaccom.com.au or add this address to your Safe Senders list. Please contact edge@architecture.com.au if you still do not receive the confirmation.

Online registrations have closed, but I want to attend the conference.

Once online registrations have closed, the registration webpage will have a link to a downloadable PDF hardcopy registration form. Please print and fill this out with credit card details, and bring along with you to the conference registration desk at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach during registration times. Note, once online registrations have closed, we will not be accepting emailed registration forms either, therefore please just bring the filled in form with you on the day.

The Conference Program will be released shortly and will be made available on this website. Additional fringe events and tour information will also be available on this website once finalised. You will also be given a program booklet at the conference upon registration.

How do I gain CPD points at the conference?

Both formal and informal CPD points are available to delegates. Further information about claiming points and point allocations for each session will be available on this website closer to the conference. If you still have an enquiry, email cpd@architecture.com.au.

Will the conference sessions be recorded? How can I view the conference sessions after the event?

Some conference sessions will be recorded and may be made available for purchase after the event at www.continuum.com.au. For more information on accessing and purchasing the sessions in the months following the conference, email cpd@architecture.com.au.

Fringe Events

Does my conference ticket include the Opening Party?

Yes, conference registration includes entry to the conference opening party, with the exception of Flexi and Day tickets. For more information regarding the Opening Party please visit the Events page of this website.

Purchasing extra tickets to the Opening Party?

The online system will not allow someone with the same registration details to register twice for the event. Therefore if you have registered for the conference and then go online to purchase additional Opening Party tickets, an error will appear preventing you to proceed. To fix this, please enter your surname followed by the number ‘1’ (ie. “Brown 1”) and proceed to book your tickets. If you are still experiencing problems, email edge@architecture.com.au

When will fringe events and tours be finalised, where do I find more information and how do I register?

The fringe program is scheduled to be released in early March and will include a number of events taking place during the week leading up to the conference. Exhibitions, tours, workshops and other fringe events will be regularly updated onto the fringe events webpage over the up-coming months. Individual registration for these events will be required and accessible via the webpage. Please note the fringe events will have limited capacity and are only available to those who have purchased Conference Tickets.
