I was lucky enough to be a guest of Vitra at this year’s Milan Furniture Fair.  The Salone focuses on high end home and hospitality furnishings by European manufacturers, with smaller areas dedicated to office furniture, lighting and kitchens. Three trends:

Classics Reconsidered.

Vitra released a range of Prouve chairs in shades of green, curated by G-Star Raw. Cassina celebrated 50 years as the manufacturer of le Corbusier’s furniture by reinterpreting the range in warm reds and pinks.

White and tan at Artek

Green Theme

Greens from mint to military featured across the fair. Zanotta and Normann Copenhagen showed the colour range in polypropylene shell chairs.

Think Pink

Shades or red from peach to tomato were similarly presented together (Swedese, Cappellini).
