The National Architecture Awards have been held annually since 1981. These awards are the most prestigious in the design and construction industry. The National Architecture Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements and excellence in architecture.<\/p>\n

Commendations, awards and named awards will be announced across 14 diverse categories in addition to the announcement of the National Emerging Architect Prize winner<\/a>.<\/p>\n

6pm arrival drinks will be followed by the awards presentation at 7pm.<\/p>\n

Our MC Aaron Pedersen is very much looking forward to hosting this year\u2019s Awards – Aaron is one of Australia\u2019s most recognisable and highly regarded actors. Aaron recently starred in Mystery Road<\/em>, Jack Irish<\/em> and A Place To Call Home<\/em>. His other film and television credits include, Killing Ground<\/em>, Goldstone<\/em>, The Circuit<\/em>, The Code<\/em>, City Homicide<\/em> and Water Rats<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Southbound traffic wanting to access Harbour Esplanade should travel east into Dudley Street and then south into Wurundjeri Way (behind Etihad Stadium). From there, travel towards Docklands into Bourke Street and right into Harbour Esplanade.<\/p>\n

For Northbound traffic or if you\u2019re travelling from Charles Grimes Bridge and wanting to access Harbour Esplanade, you should drive through Batman\u2019s Hill district onto Wurundjeri Way and onto Bourke Street , before turning right into Harbour Esplanade.<\/p>\n

Cars should avoid travelling via La Trobe Street to access Harbour Esplanade or will be required to make a U turn at Bourke Street to access Central Pier.<\/p>\n

Southern Cross Station (formerly Spencer Street Station) is Melbourne\u2019s main rail interchange for suburban, regional, and interstate trans and is located right on Docklands\u2019 doorstep.<\/p>\n

At Southern Cross Station, exit at the northern end to walk over the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge to Harbour Esplanade. Alternatively, exit the station on the corner of Spencer and Collins Streets, and walk over the Collins Street Bridge to Docklands Park.<\/p>\n
