Annelise Tiller - Jury Chair (GHD, Dubai UAE)<\/h6>

Annelise, originally from Melbourne, practices Architecture and Interior Design in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Having lived 12 years in the Middle East including 6 years in Qatar she has had the opportunity to deliver projects across the Middle East, Africa and India. Her passion as Councillor for the Australian Institute of Architects International Chapter is to enhance the connection between members both overseas and at home while promoting the notable work of Australian architects abroad.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Richard Blythe (Virginia Tech, Virginia USA)<\/h6>

Dr Richard Blythe is Professor in Architecture and Dean of the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech, USA and Executive Director of the Global Forum for Urban and Regional Resiliance. Prior to taking up his position at Virginia Tech Richard served as Dean of the School of Architecture + Design at RMIT University, Melbourne Australia, Head of the School of Architecture + Design at RMIT, and Deputy Head of the School of Architecture at the University of Tasmania where he began his academic career as a lecturer. Richard has a strong track record in strategic institutional leadership.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr Julie Eizenberg (KoningEizenberg Architecture, Los Angeles USA)<\/h6>

Julie Eizenberg, FAIA, RAIA is a Founding Principal of Koning Eizenberg and holds a B. Arch and an Ph.D (Hon.) from the University of Melbourne and an M. Arch from UCLA. She is an astute observer leading investigations that reshape the way we think about conventional building typologies. Her focus on the user experience, whether it is an individual, underserved community or the public at large brings an empathetic perspective that translates everyday programs into places of ease and generosity. Julie teaches and lectures around the world, has been a frequent advisor to the U.S. Mayor\u2019s Institute on City Design and on the board of Public Architecture and the School of Architecture at Taliesin.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Carmen Pereira (Mecanoo Architecten, Netherlands)<\/h6>

Born in Sydney Australia, Carmen graduated with first class honours from Sydney\u2019s University of Technology and worked for local practice Lippmann Associate Architects from 1998-2001. She worked in Rotterdam between 2001-2004 for the UK-based firm, Alsop Architects, before joining Mecanoo in 2004. In 2007, Carmen became Associate Architect and an Associate Partner in 2017. In her design approach and client consultation, Carmen leverages attentiveness and strong listening skills in an effort to tease out the nuances in the assignment and produce design solutions that are not only unique to the brief, but also deliver unexpected results.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Tim Ross (Sydney, Australia)<\/h6>

Best known for his work on TV and radio, Comedian Tim Ross has a long-standing passion for architecture and design. Tim has passionately supported the architecture industry, with particular focus on fighting alongside the community on the \u2018Save Our Sirius\u2019 campaign. In 2018, Tim was awarded the National Trust Heritage Award for Advocacy, for his activism on modernist architecture and promoting its conservation. \nTim\u2019s interest in architecture has led to speaking engagements at Sydney Design Week, the London Design Museum, Culture of Late\u2019s Symposium in London, the Heritage Address in Melbourne and the renowned Griffin Lecture at the National Press Club in Canberra. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
