This weekend will see Adelaide\u2019s third Open House Day. This provides a valuable opportunity for the profession to connect with the general public about the importance and value of our architecture. Are you encouraging friends from outside the profession to participate? The more people who attend, the more people appreciate our built fabric and get involved in casual conversations about great local architecture.<\/p>\n

We have recently sent you all an event program or you can go to the website<\/a>. Please note that some tours require advance bookings so organise now to take some friends with you and make it a special weekend!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is also a forum<\/a> on \u201cAdelaide\u2019s Future Heritage\u201d being held at UniSA on Friday. Hosted by Mads Gaardboe and featuring among others, our own Dimitty Anderson, Sue Phillips, Kirsteen Mackay and James Hayter. It would be great to see the profession there to support both the event and our members.<\/p>\n
