{"id":9806,"date":"2015-09-10T12:58:31","date_gmt":"2015-09-10T02:58:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.architecture.com.au\/news-media\/?p=9806"},"modified":"2016-05-30T13:52:07","modified_gmt":"2016-05-30T03:52:07","slug":"from-the-ceo-28","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.architecture.com.au\/news-media\/from-the-ceo-28\/","title":{"rendered":"From the CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>14 Sep<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2015 National Architecture Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The night of nights for the architectural profession, the 2015 National Architecture Awards, will be held in Brisbane on Thursday 5 November.<\/p>\n<p>The National Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements and excellence in architecture and the event is sure to be a spectacular occasion.<\/p>\n<p>The venue is University of Queensland Advanced Engineering Building, designed by Queensland Chapter President Richard Kirk Architect and HASSELL in joint venture. The building received the coveted Sir Zelman Cowen Award in addition to the Emil Sodersten Award for Interior Architecture and an Award for Sustainable Architecture at the 2014 National Architecture Awards \u2013 the most awarded project at last year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p>It is set to be a great evening, with the presentation hosted by comedian Tim Ross. Celebrations will continue into the night with a festive cocktail reception.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are on sale now.
