From the outset, Vodafone wanted an inspiring and unique call centre that would reflect and motivate their youth based employees and customers. BYA Architects strived to reflect the company\u2019s \u2018Values and Leadership Commitments\u2019 in the fit out. Within the very fabric of the building we expressed these ideas including: WE before ME; Create a lasting impression that makes people feel good; and Make it count – with soul. With not a drab desk maze or isolating cubicle in sight, we adapted the best current open plan office to reinforce the company\u2019s ideas. Nobody has a fixed desk, flexible staff teams work in coloured zones that can adapt to suit tasks, focus and business commitments. A multitude of workspaces are provided for team members. People are encouraged to move around, work and energise in the many spaces. These include 2 cafes, a shop, lounges, games area, video conferencing huddles, soft seating pods, stand up huddles and a variety of meeting rooms to suit 2-25 people. All areas are interconnected by central lifts, stairs and slides. Training also takes place on site, in a state of the art facility designed to create a relaxed and connected team atmosphere, right from the start.<\/p>\n
