Graduate in Architecture or Registered Architect
Ashley Halliday Architects
ASHLEY HALLIDAY is an acclaimed contemporary architecture and interior design practice rapidly drawing attention for its high profile and award winning work. Recently completed projects include the new Kangaroo Island Airport, Plant 4 Bowden, AGT Grain Research Centre and several bespoke houses.
We are looking for a graduate in architecture or recently registered architect with 3+ years experience to join our relaxed and flexible studio environment based in the west end of the CBD. Our work is characterised by its creativity, design innovation and attention to detail. We work hard toward this end, enjoy teamwork, share our collective experience, and value work-life balance.
You must have a passion for design and detailing and not be content to settle for the status quo. You will be working on an exciting range of commercial, educational and residential projects with a great group of clients.
The essential criteria we are looking for in applicants include;
- Relevant degree in Architecture
- Excellent verbal and graphic communicator
- Working knowledge of documentation and construction detailing
- Project experience focusing on design development, documentation and detailing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaboration within the office team
- Management and coordination of consultants
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Adobe Creative Suite
- MS Office
Prospective applicants are encouraged to send a tailored portfolio of their work relating to the above mentioned criteria to firstname.lastname@example.org All applications will be kept in strict confidence. Attractive renumeration will be negotiated based on your level of experience and goals.
Greenway Architects are seeking a talented, driven and engaging Architect or experienced Graduate to join our practice. You’ll be experienced, registered (or ready to be registered), able to capably deliver small to medium sized projects on your own, and as a team member on our bigger projects. Being comfortable with clients, contractors and consultants, the role will suit those who are confident in their abilities, with recent, relevant experience to back it up. You’ll be as relaxed giving a presentation to a group, as you will be having coffee with a future client, with verbal, written and drawn skills all part of your arsenal. You’ll also be as comfortable on a building site, liaising directly with contractors as you will in a design discussion with your project team. You’ll be pushed and supported to bring out your best, but at the same time, expected to work with minimal guidance to manage your own time, outputs and outcomes, with the support and flexibility to achieve this.
Our clients vary wildly, as do our projects. We need a team member who’ll work collaboratively, across our office and our client groups, to take projects from concept to completion, with the ability to work within any part of a project’s journey. Revit is preferable, but we’re an AutoCAD/Adobe office too. With a portfolio reflecting projects from $100,000 to $50,000,000, in all sectors of the market, the Greenway Architects team is agile, adaptable, flexible and hard working. We support, encourage and even expect growth, both professionally and personally. We offer the opportunity for our team to seek and achieve this growth in every project. You’ll be rewarded, above the Award rate, and commensurate with your skills, abilities and value to us and our clients. Whilst flexible working arrangements are available, this is a full-time position.
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take the next step on their professional path. Someone who’s driven to create excellent spaces, environments and relationships. Someone who fits in with our office and culture, our clients and our consultants. Someone who likes a challenge, can clearly articulate their position, isn’t afraid of hard work and seeks a rewarding experience by doing so.
If this is you, please email email@example.com something that outlines who you are, what pushes your buttons and gets you out of bed in the morning including what you’ve done and who you’ve done it for.
