Megafauna Central is a dynamic new facility combining a ‘front of house’ public exhibition and events space together with a ‘back of house’ research and administrative area. A viewing window from the exhibition space into the fossil workshop offers the public a glimpse into the inner workings of fossil cleaning and preservation.
Megafauna Central offers a palate of mixed materials and considered details, and is an example of interior architecture that brings together tourism, education, research, science, public amenity and community benefit into a unique visitor experience.
