City Cottage is a gorgeous 1910 local heritage-listed 1br workers cottage, recently transformed by a contemporary renovation by architects Davis + Davis.

This little cottage is joining the urban revival currently underway in the north-west corner of Adelaide boasting an adaptable, contemporary, light-filled and enjoyable place to live or work, whilst respecting the local heritage fabric and streetscape.

City Cottage demonstrates the potential for reimagining Adelaide’s heritage and the merits of compact housing. Simple design principles, including providing generous and flexible spaces, prioritizing light, landscape, and views, and spending money on things that matter, has created something livable and loveable.
