DKJ projects. architecture was commissioned as Lead Consultant to design a new Mazda Dealership on a prime site along the Stuart Highway in Darwin.
Taking up over 2100 square meters, the Mazda Dealership features a dedicated service center and over 1200 square meters of indoor and outdoor car display space with modern office facilities.
While the showroom and front of house facilities identify this as a commercial project with a strong client focus and market presence, the underlying complex technical aspects are not so apparent, but no less important as they drive the success of the business model.
The functionality of the service bays is based on a range of fully coordinated services – compressed air, reticulated oils ( new and used ) trade waste, power and a safe working environment. In turn, the service facilities are supported by client reception and an efficiently planned spare parts unit and staff amenities.
