ARCHITECTURE AWARDS SHORTLIST

Congratulations are also in order for the 2018 Victorian Architecture Awards shortlisted projects.

2018 Vic Shortlisted Projects

On behalf of the Institute I would like to congratulate all submitting architecture practices for your incredible dedication and hard work in procuring quality architectural responses across 14 categories.

With a 20% increase in submissions this year it is a very competitive playing field. However it should be remembered that your contribution to the realm of architecture is an important one regardless of being shortlisted. Please all keep up the good work.

The final results will be announced at the Awards Presentation Dinner being held on Friday 29 June.

Tickets are still available. It is a wonderful evening to celebrate the collective endeavours of our industry and to dance the night away. We look forward to seeing you all then.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE

This week the National Conference Edge is being held on the Gold Coast. This is always a great annual event bringing together on a national level architects from all regions. It provides the opportunity to listen, debate, catch-up with old friends and colleagues and to meet new ones.

This year fellow Victorian’s Eli Giannini and Professor Mark Stevenson will be speaking at the conference. We look forward to hearing their presentations.

Have a great month.
