The 2011 Alumni event was held on Tuesday night in Sydney at Mezzaluna restaurant in Potts Point.
The group which is growing each year, was treated to the wise council of the guest of honour, Grand Designs host
Kevin McCloud. Also in attendance was Grand Designs Australia host, the lovely Peter Maddison
Kevin was gracious with his time, and had a very informal chat with Phil White regarding his work on Grand Designs, as well as the trip he made to Mumbai to film ‘Sluming it’, and finally his personal projects including the recently completed triangle project under the Hab Housing banner.
The group was also honoured to have former Institute President Howard Tanner and Current Imstitute President Brian Zulaikha present.
Brian gave the group a quick presentation about the work undertaken by his practice TZG including the Padington Reservoir Gardens, which a few of us checked out the next day.
What more can I say, the group gets bigger and night gets better!
