Commercial Architecture – Francesca

Francesca is a city store fit-out for an entrepreneur and jewellery artist in the process of expansion and brand reinforcement. An existing tenancy in the centre of Hobart was chosen for the first franchise store. The owner wanted the fit-out to be a defining brand statement for her established identity. An open, welcoming entry is reinforced by a refined black and white palette, adding timelessness and a sense of luxury to the retail store. The purity of the interior invites the customer into a soft, light environment, which encourages browsing and circulation. Internal planning and lighting gives a sense of space and freedom to move around the entire store, allowing intimacy with the merchandise. The neutral palette of the interior leaves the product to take centre stage and places emphasis on the colour and detail of the pieces. The rear wall treatment and side mirrors give depth and release to the interior.
